Home Check Services understands the importance of an inspection to provide information and documentation related to any significant issues that maybe found during the inspection. Generally, deferred maintenance items make up the bulk of documented issues, most of which can be corrected after the purchase of the home without great efforts. More significant items are sectioned as Immediate Attention Items or Safety Items. These are more typical of findings that are easily separated out from other less significant issues that make it easier for the client, realtors of builders to see and address in the home buying process.
Once the thorough inspection is complete, an onsite Action List Draft is provided for reading over, questions are answered, issues are shown (as requested) for a clearer understanding of the documentation. To shorten the onsite time at the inspection, a formal report is completed on the inspectors’ own time within 12 hours) and delivered via email with the Action List final attached separately all “cleaned-up” and numbered. The buyers’ Realtor/Broker is emailed the Action List final as well.
